Cook diced bacon on medium low heat until rendered and crisp.
Add diced onion and cook until softened and lightly caramelized.
Turn heat to medium high and cook ground beef until browned.
Turn heat back down to low and stir in garlic. Cook for one minute.
Add salt, pepper, and chili powder. Stir and cook for another minute.
Add tomato paste and stir.
Pour in beef broth, tomato sauce, and worcestershire sauce. Bring to a simmer.
Add diced tomatoes and kidney beans. Simmer on lowest possible heat for 20-30 minutes or longer.
Taste and adjust seasonings.
Serve over white rice and top with sour cream, cheese, and onions. Enjoy!
