Slow Cooker Pork Chops with Peaches

Pork chops and canned peaches simmer together in an easy sweet and tangy sauce until fall apart tender.

- 4 bone in pork chops rib or center chops
- 1 can of peaches sliced or whole
- ½ cup peach syrup from can
- ½ cup ketchup
- ½ cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- ⅓ cup cornstarch slurry equal parts corn starch and water
- salt and peper to taste
Pat pork chops dry and season with salt and pepper.
Brown both side of pork chops over medium high heat, around 2-3 minutes per side.
Whisk together ketchup, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, and peach syrup.
Place pork chops in slow cooker and pour over the ketchup sauce and the sliced canned peaches.
Cook on low for 6 hours or high for 4 hours.
During the last hour, skim fat off and pour in corn starch slurry and continue to cook until thickened.
Serve hot with sliced peaches on top, enjoy!
- If sauce is too thin, add more corn starch slurry. Or you can take the lid off for half an hour to let the sauce reduce.
- Depended on how fatty your pork chops are, there may be a thick layer of fat on top of the sauce, skim as much off as you can.
- Taste the sauce once cooked and season to taste.
