- 2 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2 lb ground beef 80/20
- ½ small sweet onion small dice
- ½ red bell pepper small dice
Sauce
- 1 ¼ cup ketchup
- 2 teaspoon mustard
- ¾ cup water
- 2 tablespoon brown sugar
- 2 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- ½ teaspoon chili powder
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ tsp pepper
In a large pan over medium high heat, add vegetable oil and saute diced onions and bell peppers until soft.
Add ground beef and cook until browned. Breaking it up into small pieces with your spatula as you cook it. Transfer to the slow cooker.
Mix together your sauce ingredients and pour on the meat, stir to combine.
Turn crock pot to high and cook for 2-3 hours or low for 4-5 hours.
Scoop on to hamburger buns and enjoy!
