Teriyaki Burger Recipe

This teriyaki burger recipe is a fun way to switch up your burger night. All of the teriyaki flavor is in the patty, so there’s no need for any messy sauce!

Equipment

  • 1 grill or large cast iron skillet

Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • ¼ onion small dice
  • 1 egg
  • ¼ C soy sauce
  • ¼ C sugar
  • 2 garlic cloves finely minced
  • ½ teaspoon ginger finely grated
  • 2 green onions finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil regular or toasted

Instructions
 

  • Combine all of the ingredients in a large bowl, mix well with hands.
  • Form into 8-10 hamburger patties.
  • Cook on the grill or in a large pan.
  • Assemble and enjoy while hot!

Notes

I like to keep it simple when I serve this burger with mayo, tomato, sweet onion, and lettuce. But if you want to jazz it up you could add some cheese, teriyaki sauce, or even grilled pineapple!
